Summary: Michael, Sara, and a hut by the sea at the edge of the world.
Author’s Note: This is a companion piece to the epilogue (yet to be posted) of The Most Beautiful Flower on Earth. This little fic would make much more sense if you read that story. If you cannot (or will not *g*), assume that Michael never avenges Sara's fate at the hands of the Company, that Michael ends up on a remote island after four years, that Sara goes there to see him (again, four years after the events in Sona), and that Michael has made a few friends while on the island, one of whom is Consuelo--that should do the trick. *crosses fingers*
Also, it’s my birthday tomorrow, and where I’m from it’s customary to throw a party for my friends and loved ones. Since, unfortunately, I cannot do that for you, I offer you this story, and I hope, although it’s highly unlikely, it’s just as good as a meal and a glass of wine. *is embarrassed*
